Privacy Policy
This policy explains how AE Technology Solutions and Homer AI collect, use, share, and protect personal information.
Last updated: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how AE Technology Solutions ("AE Technology Solutions," "Homer AI," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit our website, communicate with us, or use the Homer AI platform and Services. By using the Services, you agree to this Policy. It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Scope & our role
This Policy covers personal information we handle as a business โ for example, information about website visitors, prospects, and the account owners and users of our Customers.
When our Customers use the Services to communicate with their own leads and customers, those individuals' personal information (such as call recordings, transcripts, contact records, and messages) is processed by us on behalf of the Customer. In that context, the Customer is generally the "controller" (or "business") and we act as a "processor" (or "service provider"). If you are an end customer who interacted with a business that uses Homer AI, please direct privacy requests to that business; we will assist them as required.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account & contact details โ name, business name, email, phone number, and role when you sign up, request a demo, or contact us.
- Billing information โ processed through our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
- Content you submit โ business details, configuration, contacts, and other data you add to the platform ("Customer Data").
- Communications โ messages you send us and records of support interactions.
Information collected automatically
- Usage & device data โ IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar analytics data.
- Cookies & similar technologies โ see Cookies & analytics below.
Information processed on behalf of Customers
- Call & message data โ phone numbers, call recordings and transcripts, chat and SMS content, and metadata generated when the Services handle communications for a Customer.
- CRM records โ contact details, appointments, quotes, invoices, and interaction history managed within the platform.
3. Calls, recordings & AI processing
The Services place and receive calls, may record and transcribe calls, and use artificial intelligence to understand and respond to communications, generate summaries, and draft content. Recordings and transcripts are stored to provide the Services (for example, so Customers can review interactions). Customers are responsible for providing any legally required notice or consent for recording and for the use of an automated or AI agent. We use AI service providers to process this content solely to deliver the Services.
4. How we use information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services;
- Process transactions, manage subscriptions, and send billing and account notices;
- Respond to inquiries and provide customer support;
- Personalize, analyze, and improve the Services and develop new features;
- Send administrative and, where permitted, marketing communications (you can opt out of marketing at any time);
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions.
5. Cookies & analytics
We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences, and understand usage. Our website uses analytics and marketing tools that may include Google Analytics, HubSpot, and CallRail (call tracking). These tools may set cookies and collect usage or call data. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we honor consent choices (including Google Consent Mode). Disabling cookies may affect how the site functions.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your data โ ever. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or your customers' personal information, and we do not "sell" or "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA or other applicable privacy laws. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We share information only as needed to run the Services, as follows:
- Service providers / subprocessors โ vendors that help us operate the Services, such as payment processing, cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and AI processing, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
- Telephony (Twilio Connect) โ voice and SMS are handled through Twilio using the Customer's own connected Twilio account. Call and message data is processed through that Twilio account and is subject to Twilio's terms and privacy policy.
- Invoicing & payments (Stripe Connect) โ invoicing and payment collection are handled through Stripe using the Customer's own connected Stripe account. Payment and transaction data is processed by Stripe and is subject to Stripe's terms and privacy policy. We do not store full payment card numbers.
- With Customers โ where you are an end user or contact, the relevant business Customer has access to communications and records associated with their account.
- Legal & safety โ when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AE Technology Solutions, our users, or others.
- Business transfers โ in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
7. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Customer Data is retained according to the Customer's configuration and our agreement with the Customer, and may be deleted after account termination following a reasonable grace period. You may request deletion as described below, subject to legal retention requirements.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing or targeted advertising, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of California (under the CCPA/CPRA) and certain other states have these rights. To exercise them, contact us at privacy@aetechnologysolutions.com. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. If your information is processed on behalf of one of our Customers, we will refer your request to that Customer.
10. SMS & call consent
If you provide your phone number, you may receive calls or text messages related to your account or, where you have consented, for marketing. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP, and opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchase. Communications from businesses that use Homer AI to reach you are governed by that business's own practices.
11. Children's privacy
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International users
We are based in the United States and process information in the U.S. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
