We build software for people who work in trucks

AE Technology Solutions is the team behind HomerAI. We think the trades have been underserved by software for thirty years, and that AI is the first thing to come along that genuinely changes that.

Why we built Homer

Spend a morning in the office of a good home service company and you'll see the same thing every time: enormously capable people doing work a computer should be doing. A dispatcher rebuilding the board for the fourth time. An owner writing invoices at 9pm. A technician who fixed the problem in forty minutes typing up what happened for fifteen.

The software they were sold didn't cause that, but it didn't fix it either. Field service platforms were designed as systems of record — good places to store what already happened, and very fast at turning a person into a data entry clerk. When AI arrived, most vendors added a chat box to the corner of that same design and called it AI-powered.

We think that's backwards. If the AI is good enough to answer the phone, qualify the job, read the schedule, and understand what's on the truck, then it shouldn't be a feature inside the system of record. It should be the thing doing the work, with the record falling out as a by-product.

That's what HomerAI is. It's not field service management software with AI in it. It's an AI that runs a field service business, and keeps the books while it does.

What we believe

The phone is still the business

Home services is one of the last industries where the buying decision starts with a phone call from someone with a problem right now. A missed call isn't a lost lead — it's a customer who is already calling your competitor. Everything else we built came after we got that right.

Autonomy has to be earned, and adjustable

We don't think you should hand a computer your calendar and your prices on day one because a vendor told you to. Homer's autonomy is set per action, and most customers turn it up over the first few months as they watch what it does. Every decision it makes is logged with its reasoning, and all of it can be switched off.

Software shouldn't tax you for growing

Per-seat pricing punishes you for letting your team see the schedule. We price on trucks and call volume — the things that actually drive our cost — and office users are unlimited on every plan.

Your data is yours

Customers, equipment history, price book, invoices: full export in open formats, whenever you ask, at no charge. We'd rather keep you because leaving would be a downgrade than because it would be a nightmare.

Say the honest thing

We publish results only when a customer has verified them. If AI isn't the right answer for the problem in front of you, we'll tell you — including on a sales call. There are companies we've turned away because they needed a bigger crew, not better software.

How we work with you

Onboarding isn't a login and a link to a help centre. On Growth and Custom plans we migrate your customers, equipment history, price book, and open jobs ourselves, then run alongside your existing process until you're comfortable turning the old one off.

Most companies are live in about two weeks. The first week is data and configuration — your trades, your job types, your price book, your service area. The second is Homer answering overflow calls while your team watches the transcripts, then taking the after-hours line, then taking the whole thing.

The measure we hold ourselves to: at 90 days, can you point at where the money came from? If not, we haven't done our job, and we'd rather hear that from you early.

Working with us

What you can expect

Live in about two weeks

Not two quarters. We migrate the data, configure your trades, and run in parallel until you're ready to switch the old system off.

You talk to people who built it

We're small on purpose. Support isn't a tiered queue — when something's wrong you reach someone who can actually fix it.

No lock-in

Month-to-month on Starter and Growth. Full data export any time, free. Leave whenever you want — we'd just rather you didn't want to.

Come see whether we're right about this

Twenty minutes, your real numbers, and a straight answer about whether Homer would help.
